As you can see from the image above (and various complains on Twitter), iOS 7.1 decreases battery life, although not on every iOS product.

Note: If your fingerprint data is already saved, delete all of it and add the new ones.

Step 3: Reboot your iPhone.

A website called IsTouchIDHackedYet.com, has been set up to donate more than $15,000 and other perks to anyone who can hack Apple’s touch ID fingerprint technology.

So how does this all work? Well, you have to gain access to an iPhone 5S by reproducing the fingerprint and without being locked out – obviously you will have to provide a video for confirmation.


Apple has mentioned that it uses industry-standard encryption on the fingerprint so this is going to be no easy task – no wonder the donation has crossed the $15,000 right now.

That is why many people who want to keep a jailbroken device tend not to restore their iPhone, iPad and iPod touch in the fear of losing their precious jailbreak, especially for those A5+ devices which currently do not have a jailbreak.

Well thanks to a new software called semi-restore you can now restore without losing your jailbreak!

We previously reported on semi-restore but at that time it was under progress and still had lots of things to be done on it. But now all work has been completed and semi-restore is available for all of you to download for Windows and Mac.


If you have been facing a problem on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch you can now restore your iOS device without losing your jailbreak.

Do note that restoring your device via semi-restore will restore to the current version you are on, not the latest. Also it won’t allow you to restore to a different version, and if you are wondering; no, it does not require you to have SHSH blobs as all the work is done on the “userland” level.

Semi-restore works on iOS 5 – iOS 6.1.2 and not on iOS 6.1.4/6.1.3. Also, your iOS device must be jailbroken in order to restore using this (quite obviously).

iPhone 6 is by far the most awaited product from Apple this year, as other rumored projects such as the iWatch are not confirmed. We have been receiving countless rumors regarding the iPhone 6 each mentioning something different from the previous one.

Well keeping with the rumor tradition, we have received another one and this time it is big.

As you can see from the pictures above and below, this iPhone 6 leak correlates with previous rumors we have been getting regarding a larger screened iPhone 6.

This supposedly leaked pictures show an iPhone 6 that is somewhere between 4.5″ to 5.1″, again something which has been mentioned in the past and approved by renowned news organizations.


The leaked pictures come from a Twitter user that has no “approved background”, so it is a bit hard to guess if these leaked pictures of the iPhone 6 are legit or fake.


The pictures are somewhat very closely similar to the sixth generation iPod touch and surprisingly the SIM card slot has been removed from this iPhone 6 prototype.
The other weird things about this leaked iPhone 6 is that it has the FCC markings, which do not appear this early on an Apple product (they get approved somewhat later).


This is one of the first pictures of an iPhone 6 we have seen, although it might not be the real leaked picture of the iPhone 6 but it is a start nonetheless.

2014 is here and the rumors regarding iPhone 6 are slowly going to pour in. So keeping with the rumors we have a new one and this time it is regarding a solar-powered iPhone 6. Yup folks, you read that right. An iPhone 6 having the ability to charge itself when out in the Sun! Check out the details regarding the solar-powered iPhone 6.


Apple has a deal with GT Advanced Technologies worth $578 million, in which the company is going to supply Apple with Sapphire glass for an up-coming product. This deal is by far one of the largest deals Apple has done related to Sapphire Glass.

Although Apple has not officially said it, but almost everyone knows why Apple wants the Sapphire Glass – this time it is not just for the camera lens but for the entire screen – the entire iPhone 6 screen!


Apple is expected to include Sapphire glass for the iPhone 6 and according to one analyst this Sapphire glass is going to include solar cells! These solar cells are going to charge your iPhone when placed in the sunshine, which to be honest would solve some major battery problems the iPhone currently has.

Apple has already filed lots of patents regarding solar-charging, so this might actually make sense.



But like with most analyst predictions and rumors you should take this with a pinch of salt. In fact it would be very unlikely that Apple would include solar cells in the sapphire crystal for the iPhone 6.

So we might just have to completely ignore this one.

Step 2: Go to iFile and head over to /var/mobile/Library/BulletinBoard



Step 3: Delete the file called “sectionInfo.plist”.

Note: It is always good to keep a back up just in case. So before actually deleting the file change the name of the file to anything you want. Any name will do as it does not affect how it works.

Step 4: Respring.

Step 5: Now head over to Settings > Notification Center > toggle the “Today View”.

This should fix your Notification Center problem on iOS 7.

According to a Wall Street analyst, Apple has finalized the design of the next generation iPhone - the iPhone 6. According to him, it is expected that the design of iPhone 6 will feature a 4.8″ display and have the next generation Wi-Fi technology – 802.11 ac. The Wall Street analyst mentions that Apple has “locked down” the design of the iPhone 6. Which basically means that Apple has finalized the design and no major modifications will be made; if some are to be made, they will only be minor.

The design of the iPhone 6 will feature a 4.8″ display, coinciding with previous rumors about a large display iPhone. Many are expecting Apple to unveil a large iPhone somewhere between the sizes of 4.4″ to 5.4″; something which many people actually want this time from the iPhone.



The other thing that the analyst mentions is that iPhone 6 will feature the next generation Wi-Fi technology called the 802.11 ac. I should mention here that this Wi-Fi technology is currently present in other smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S 4 and HTC One.
